Emily recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Distinction, studying with Marie Vassilliou, Mhairi Lawson and Liz Marcus. She is a member of the Handel House Talent Young Artists Scheme and the a cappella group Apollo5 and is an experienced choral and consort singer, performing with groups such as Britten Sinfonia Voices, Platinum Consort and Eboracum Baroque. She is a regular soprano at the church of All Saints, Margaret Street
 
Operatic roles include Second Woman in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and Wall in Lampe’s Pyramus and Thisbe at the Dartington International Summer School 2016. She has performed the titles roles in John Blow’s Venus and Adonis and Charpentier’s Actéon with the Guildhall School Cantata Ensemble and Bach’s Jauchzett Gott in Allen Landen with John Butt and the Academy of Ancient Music. Emily has participated in masterclasses with Dame Emma Kirkby, Carolyn Sampson, Richard Egarr and Edward Higginbottom and works closely with Rob Howarth, Robert Hollingworth and Joe Crouch with Ceruleo.
Emily is also a keen educator, regularly running education projects with Voces8 and Apollo5 and leading the Baroque Central project with the Handel and Hendrix Museum, in association with the Royal College of Music and RNIB. She is a private piano, singing and woodwind teacher for ForeSound Music Education Ltd and teaches musicianship for Mini Maestro Music.
